The aim of this project is to demonstrate the economic, constructional, and technical feasibility of large-scale buildings made of massive stone structures. The strength of this concept lies in the development of a simple and rational architectural language which clearly links form and material without stylistic artifice. The plan comprises a series of 3 solid-stone rings which make up the main structure of the building, while providing the apartments with exceptional comfort of use by taking full advantage of thermal inertia. Experiment with the use of natural materials provides the opportunity to question the current production methods in light of environmental and climate issues.
