The project involves the demolition of a building on the plot and its restructuring through the reuse of stones salvaged from the demolition. The intervention aims to restore unity and coherence to the new ensemble, simplifying its overall reading. The reuse stone is repurposed into a self-supporting gallery that generously opens the facade towards the park. The building is topped with two additional floors. The facades design draws on the constructive vocabulary of the existing structure, while enriching it with new ornamental details. Our project seeks to demonstrate the relevance of massive stone construction — particularly through reuse — as a response not only to environmental challenges but also to cultural ones. Stone acts as a bridge between the lived experience we share with historic cities and the architecture and urban fabric of tomorrow.
