On a disused railway site in the heart of the city centre, the project is being developed as part of a new neighbourhood plan. The 110 homes occupy three separate buildings constructed from low carbon concrete and solid load-bearing stone. The three buildings are designed to be autonomous, but they maintain a neighbourly relationship with similarities and differences. The aim is to create a complex that is both coherent and rich in variation.
