A neo-medieval folly built in the early 19th century as an observatory, this strange architectural object was gradually left to fall into disrepair. Today, it suffers from serious pathologies affecting its masonry and wooden floors, both salvaged from a medieval fortified house.
And now, it is being given a new lease on life.
